| Hello there friends. Well, our friend Dan was supposed to come to visit us in Probolinggo in a couple of days but things changed dramatically. Let me explain: it was Dan’s intention to see as many girls as possible on his first trip and then go home and think about things seriously until he had made up his mind which of the girls he had met was the one for him. I try to explain to people that this is the most difficult part of their experience here. Finding a beautiful, loving wife here is not that hard because there are so many but selecting WHICH one of those girls to marry is the tough part. My husband tells me that he ALMOST married one of three other girls before he met me! Anyway, so Dan got in touch with quite a few young ladies several of whom he wanted to meet and who wanted to meet him. His plan was to arrive in Jakarta, stay for a couple of days meeting the girls from that area and then proceed to Probolinggo where we had a few other girls for him to meet. The first girl that he contacted was a young lady called Debie who offered to meet him at the airport and install him on a hotel for a couple of days. I personally have never met Debie but my husband and I have exchanged many emails with her. I told Dan that she seemed to be a really sweet person and that she also appeared to like HIM very much. Well, the two of the corresponded a lot and decided that they really DID love each other and arranged to get married when Dan arrived...WOW! This doesn’t happen very often but I am really happy for them and just hope that they have as good a relationship as my husband and I do. Actually WE decided after meeting for just a few days that we wanted to be together forever and, after six years of happiness it seems like we made the right choice. We still have two weddings scheduled for February and I will let you know how things progress with those. Maybe YOU would like to be next?...Until the next time... |
