| Well friends, it’s been a while and you may have noticed that the site disappeared. This was due to a complete screw up between us and the domain name registrar. In the end we just told them to get lost and re-registered the name indonesian-wife.com which is, when you think about it, a more appropriate name as we handle only Indonesian young ladies. The site will be operating by the time you receive this. Apart from that, life has been going on as usual. We have another wedding planned and will let you have details shortly. I am in the process of being sent crazy by my mother. She suffered three strokes several years ago and is confined to a wheel chair. Last year when my father died of cancer, my husband agreed to let mother stay with us. A couple of weeks ago, a friend of mine visited and convinced mother that she could be made to walk again with the help of so-called paranormals, whom she invited over. My husband was absolutely furious as he believes that they are a load of rubbish. He himself is an experienced hypnotist and knows what can be affected by the mind and what cannot. The people, who my husband refers to as par-sub-normals, persuaded mother to spend seven days at the home of my friend during which time they assured her that she would be walking. It has now been fourteen days and of course nothing has happened but mother is confident that it will soon and wishes to remain there. I haven’t decided yet how I am going to handle this. Mother has been convinced by them to sell her gold jewelry and give them the money. I may have to go over there and drag mother out by force. Last week I heard on the news about the terrorist bombs that exploded in two major hotels in Jakarta. A terrible occurrence that does not have the support of anyone here except a few fanatics. I sincerely hope that this event will not stop you from visiting Indonesia. It has been years since we have experienced any problems like this here and, unfortunately these events occur all over the world. Thus, Indonesia is no more dangerous than any other country. Generally speaking the people here do not live in fear of terrorism. Actually, the hotels concerned have now reopened and have guests staying with them again so that should tell you something. We will be adding some new girls to the site shortly and, if you come to visit me, I can introduce you to many who are not listed. I know that the economy in the West has been terrible and everyone is trying to save money. Seems like the worst is over so hopefully those of you who would really like to meet their dream girl will be able to travel here and make their dreams come true...Love...Yuyun |
